Systematic opression leads to evil. The powerless victims rallyed up by focusing their rage on a random person who was related to oppressors sure is evil. But I wouldn't blame them. Rather, I blame the system that made them powerless, into finding some supernatural thing to rely on, that ultimately brought their demise.
This could be an allegory to so many current systems that create victims with built up rage that end up with them relying on the wrong thing. Brilliant writing 10/10
