I swear people always have to find something to hate. They hate it when something (plot) is too slow, when something (plot) is too fast. They complain when the FL is too dense and when she's not dense at all. They will complain when plot is too complicated and dramatic and when plot is too simple and basic.
Anyways, I know this is fast paced and I think. I would read these than have 20 chapters of a single simple conflict. Fast paced over dragged out any day. The only dragged out plot I like is when they create a bunch of side stories (that are all sweet and nice) after the main story.
