opinions on the novel

reading the novel for this rn and holy miscommunication. the mc is one hell of an unreliable narrator, which makes the novel very interesting. the ml is definitely a yellow flag, he is very pragmatic and calculating so its difficult for him to understand the emotions that the mc feels, but its very clear that he does care for the mc a lot.. he just shows it in an unconventional and sometimes creepy/controlling way, but, as of ch 113 in the novel (not sure if it will get worse), he hasn’t done anything absurdly evil except for

**MAJOR SPOILER**

trying to impregnate the mc without his knowledge so hes forced to come back to the ml

**MAJOR SPOILER OVER**

the story is frustrating because neither one of them has the same communication style, and it often feels like theyre speaking two different languages. the mc tries really hard to get his feelings across to the ml, but the ml struggles to understand bc it isnt “logical” to him. ngl some scenes had me crying, i could definitely relate to the mc’s frustration and helplessness with being continuously misunderstood and feeling like he wasn’t being heard. idk. i do love the story so far. hopefully the manhwa lives up to the novel!
