Nah. I'm not giving in how the world wants me to. That'd be actually dragging me down in a worse way than death in an apocalypse type scenario like this.
that's exactly my problem. i just can't believe that in an environment where so much is happening and danger is everywhere, the mc would trust one of them that easily. it feels like the author is deliberately lowering the mc's IQ just to move the plot forward.
Dude was told by multiple people that the type of person who can be recruited to the Hounds is NOT normal, usually highly volatile/hostile. Then he received a specific warning about this MF but STILL can’t take a hint, I swear some people can’t be helped.
