unpopular opinion but I really dont hate naeun. yes she's definitely privileged but none of her feelings have been invalid so far imo. it's true that her teacher has some sort of bias/attraction toward han garam that prevents him from treating them equally.

Even if her feelings make sense, using devious methods to try to sabotage Han Garam is unforgivable.

It's extremely unfair for Han Garam but if her teacher is already intending on unprofessionally favoring him, what else can she really do to save her position? She's very determined. As youngjo said, Han Garam won't quit as long as he remembers how much he loves music. Idk, I'm not saying all of her actions are justified but I think she's getting more hate than she deserves

She doesn’t even need that position. She just wants it, and feels entitled to it because her rich family already expects that spot secured for her because of their connections and money. She has every other opportunity to be successful, because of her familial and financial background. People without connections experience unprofessional favoritism in their opposition all the time, and she generally experiences favoritism that is in her favor and has no problem with receiving those benefits. She doesn’t get a pass for her choice to try and ruin garam’s chances.

I like all the characters, I think they're all so well fleshed out with believable motives and realistic flaws. a lot of people aren't used to so many flawed characters in manhwa so I think it's jarring for a lot of people to read a story like this.

She's not trying to ruin his 'chances', his chances were already compromised the second she confirmed her teacher's bias. I never said she needed the position, wanting it badly because you love piano is enough of a reason, you can't expect her to give that up because Han Garam doesn't have as much money as her. "People without connections experience unprofessional favoritism" Okay, and I wouldn't be upset to see them do what she did either? Not even sure how that's relevant, Han Garam isn't some martyr that's been waiting for the opportunity to one-up a rich person lol, that is what you're projecting onto him because you find Naeun annoying.
