Exactly She feels like a Yandere now. Shinoa is better off without Yuu. She was so much better in the previous arcs... (Meanwhile, toxic fans of the series called me an anti-Shinoa for saying this on Reddit, and said I only think this way because I ship MikaYuu and apparently want Shinoa out of the way
Shinoa needed WAY more dvelopment alone before falling for Yuu, thats the problem.
They made her fall in love with him too fast, while Yuu was focused on other Stuff and thats why they felt on different wavelenghts, then we had Mahiru "supporting that" and anything she says rubs the wrong way honestly
If Shinoa had a SOLID development with her whole squad and her own goal that wpuld be enough but Nah. She is like the pther Kagami girls who are an accesory to their male.
The only excepción in my book is Krul because, in my book, wanting to save your Brother and live in peace at least earns my empathy more than Simptron3000(and we lready have a bunch of those)

Exactly The same problem was in Naruto too. Most girls were just used as love interests for the male characters. It's hard to name a female in ONS who isn't a love interest (other than Krul). The first time I read ONS and found out that such a stoic and serious character like Aoi was in love with Kureto too, I knew then and there that Kagami's story would go in the same direction
I used to love shines charscter...omfg they ruined her...tbh I lowkey feel like she doesn't even really love yuu its more like an obsession literally her whole personality why tf did the author ruin her like this...legit only reading this nothing burger for mikayuu to kiss
