From the beginning he seemed to have a goal.
He wanted to support scholarship MC for his own personal goals which he never verbalized clearly but his convos w/ other characters been hinting towards that.
it was clear he wasnt supporting our MC cuz he had feelings or cared abt him.
His behaviour in the church kinda gave us more details about his goal. And then finally when he switched tactics and started helping the rich girl after seeing her in the church and knew she could help him better.
Im still not sure why he thought helping the MC was gonna help him but im assuming either i missed some of the hints or it will be revealed later.
I do hope helping rich girl isnt what he planned since the beginning (love bomb MC then break his heart to help rich girl) cuz that would fuck me up (i mean its a great plot direction but id feel so bad for MC)
