Thank God! I was super pissed when I saw that "you know I love you right brother?" I thought he really was a piece of shit doing this for him. So now I'm a little less pissed. I can't wait for that bitch and his brother to fall. April is going amazing for the situation she's in. I honestly would have offed myself long ago. Gotta love a queen dedicated to her revenge.
Based on the spoilers I have gathered. During his childhood, it’s true that he did have a crush on Heidi because his parents died, and Heidi is the one who made him feel warmth. However, as he grew older, he realized that Heidi is acting a facade, a white lotus, and decided to keep pretending he still had a crush on her. The author’s intention was to create this tension, apparently, the author is known for writing “regretful male leads.” The male lead knew the truth about the female lead's accusations and his family’s secret. I found out that during these chapters, he is gathering evidence and helping the female lead get revenge. He will soon become her loyal shadow. I still dislike that the female lead let him in so easily despite all the secrets he hides from her. Both the male lead's brother and Heidi will fall from high society and become commoners, their family name will be no more.
