I would just like to clarify that I don't condon Rege's behaviour, especially with the Nanny... but this is definitely one of those "monsters aren't born but are made" situations.
I need a story of where a lead character from a messed up household goes against their parents, completely ruining them. Any recommendations will do (▰˘◡˘▰)
From the moment he was born, he was despised by that old fart, leading him to have a skewed view on trust and familial love. His storyline was interesting to me because of how he kept the conflict going. So during his finaly meeting with that old fart, I was glad he stabbed him. The Emperor is the reason why Regef became the man he is, regardless of blood ties. But hearing how he planned for homegirl to die just because he hates his late wife was wild.
It's always sad seeing children being abused for being born. Same with ML because not only was his mother cold, but that dad treated him like shit solely because he looked like his mother...
