I think his parents pushed him cause they needed money and he wanted to socialize with them again, probably uncle did this maneuver since he was weak for his younger brother (cheol’s dad)

Yes, I remember about her being rich and Cheol fear and it would make sense if he met her through his uncle (or was it stated I don't remember) but it would be better if author adress it. I also wanted to know more about their relationship and the dynamics of it because hiding being gay 10 years is no joke. I hope author gives more information in an afterword/notes.

I feel we will know more details when Cheol is telling Minyoung since she doesn’t seem that important to the main story cause the man b gay
