My theory might either be that
1. Ichi might be intersex, technically he has a 'female' part
2. He's not exactly a natural human since we have never actually know anything about his parent our how he ended up in that forest too 'cause I felt like it was implied that he was abandoned but we actually really don't know if the fact is 100% true or not
I think it’s either he’s not fully human or he’s been “blessed” by some kind of being.
