They're just jealous lol
because god forbid we have a character who is confident in themselves (and all his egotistical moments are just funny one-offs that don’t affect anyone else). chasing kanade is clearly an exaggerated gag to show how dedicated he is. i also love their dynamic, its very sweet how they inspire each other to be better. i love masaya, i think its refreshing that he’s very open about his feelings and not afraid to do something about it
I think it always comes down to personal preference. I personally get uncomfortable reading characters this pushy. Nothing wrong with the character by nature, but I (someone shy who gets REALLY uncomfortable when people are that pushy) cannot get past that type of character. No shame on people who do, but I frequently *want* those characters to get a wake up call because that level of pushy has only pushed me away from people. It's again, a preference. I am glad you liked it, but I think it's valid some people just do not appreciate the character type and not fair make it like readers are "jealous" or judgey towards a character that just isn't for them
why do people don't like this? I love this manga so much I kept looking for the chapters when I saw it on a database with only 6 chapters and is completed. I just love their dynamic, maybe I'm in the wrong platform
