As someone who read it almost when it aired, I can say it's pace is normal considering it's short story. There is a lot to enjoy, no matter which way you look. The art, the intimacy they have very early on, then the angst, and as we can tell, the good ending nearing.

Other authors can make 2 chapters with smut in a row, little action, then back at smut, and this author delves deeper into emotions... What's so wrong?
