Thanks for letting me know! Cuz I quite liked it for the most part. I just seriously felt like the pacing was sooooo off on multiple occasions. To the point that it was jarring. But it’s one of the better guideverse stories I’ve read out there. It kept me invested enough to keep bingeing in one sitting….this series was like the less toxic cousin of profundis lol. You can tell it’s highly inspired by it. But if I had to read this week by week I think I would have gone insane with the misunderstandings and pacing

I just binged this entire thing in one go and I feel like this would have been torture to read releases week by week. I feel for anyone who read it before it was complete lmao…I’m curious about the novel now because the ending of the manhwa was most DEFINITELY rushed. To the point where a lot of the dialogue left me feeling like, “why are you skipping over that so casually when it was so dramatized for so long?” It makes me wonder if the novel pacing is better than the manhwa adaptation…there were just moments that I felt like the pacing was extremely awkward, and I couldn’t tell if that was just for the sake of manhwa, and that it would have hit different reading it as the novel. Either that or it’s just another instance of the misunderstanding trope getting out of hand yet again.
