The RAGA bit hit so close to home I hate Xinlu so much and love Tae
Oops sorry I ranted a bit, calming down, it’s actually very fucked up for BOTH Jae and tae, Jae probably also felt burdened at some degree too hence he distanced from tae and he wanted tae to live a life of his own, I think jae cared for tae as much as he could care for someone bc his brain is probably filled with logics > emotions, while tae is more of a balance between emotional maturity and logic, someone who loves people (yes Ilay you’re right, we love tae) I don’t think it’s bold to say but Taeui genuinely is one of the most lovable characters ever made to mankind,sorry out of the main point, but omg I can’t stress enough, one is a genius who can’t survive without his twin while the said twin is just a normal guy who lives in the shadow of the genius twin who now has two lives of his hands, three actually bc if tae dies, Ilay Riegrow would follow soon, sigh, and two of them are the most important people in tae’s lives, thank you for reading my ted talk, feel free to correct me I haven’t read the novel yet

Okay fine rant 2. The more I read about the novel spoilers and the more deeper hole I get, the whole thing is just so fucking unfair to tae. I can’t do this no more, uncle cares for him only as much as he selfishly could, again, BARE MINIMUM, Jae, Jae cares for him but. Ugh. I don’t even wanna talk about vanilla Jae, but tae? His whole existence seems to be just the anchor for Jae, like the protagonist is Jae and tae sole existent for being born was for Jae, how fucked up is that it really seems like the only one that loves him and cares for him even though it’s in an unhealthy level is Ilay, but even his love is just poison toxic, sigh, I really adore the character of Tae and I think it safe for me to say that I’m only pushing through PASSION just for him, hell I dislike xinlu sm I can’t even read RAGA, you’re telling me xinlu fucked up their relationship rn and gets a happy ever after with yuri? Don’t give me that crap, I’ll go read the passion novel sobs, I love u tae and Ilay? Okay fine I love u too
