whats confusing? its it obvious the blonde guy is endgame and the butler was always the side character and acted affectionately towards the fl bc she reminded him of edgar?? not only does she also parallel edgar by putting herself first instead of her family but she also looks like the female version of him. and Edgar killed her mother bc she reminded him of edgars brother. the butler only ever loved one person and that was always edgar.
