Firstly, fire sex scenes *chefs kiss*
Secondly in so many omegaverses, the omegas that we see nearly always take whats viewed as a feminine role in the relationship that they enter and or are already a part of and we tend to see the weird and sexist view that we have of women because the one taking the "feminine role" in the relationship is a man. The tropes that are prevalent in these such as, the omega's chastity is sacred and pure and is nearly always untouched bar the exception of the alpha in the relationship, as the omega's chastity is viewed as something that is mean to solely be taken by the more "masculine" one in the relationship, yet the alpha can spread everyone open like cinnamonbuns because his chastity is unimportant and not dependant on outside factors.
Another thing I'd like to point out is the insanely prevalent and undeniably visible glass ceiling that is part of and arguably integral in abo. The CEO alphas, and the coffee shop at best and human trafficked at worst omega main characters are there because we are taught knowingly or unknowingly that a power imbalance in mostly heteronormative relationships is whats expected and sometimes promoted. We barely ever see a omega in a high position and when we do it's usually due to generational wealth, or they enter wealth due to their newly acquired spouse that is the aforementioned CEO, never are they the ones that gain that wealth because due to their biological functions that are out of their control they are viewed lesser than, even though alphas arguably go through the same problems yet it's viewed as a strength solely because it's viewed as masculine because ruts are gifted the title of aggression.
I would like to expand more but I need to work to survive in this world so byee ゚.(o’∀`)♪
