Overall I think reverse thinking has an interesting take that explores complicated themes like trauma, revenge, guilt, and the cycle of abuse. It left me feeling uncomfortable and emotionally heavy, and I empathized with both characters even though I didn't agree with their actions.
With that said, I think the execution could have been stronger if it didn't rely so heavily on repeated sexual assault scenes. After a certain point, those scenes started to feel excessive rather than adding something new to the story.
