I don’t think the translation is wrong a lot of people in age gap relationships joke around like that.

The korean word used was 도둑놈……… which means 'thief.'

if you actually read the official translation, Minjung has been calling Dohyun as “predator” since ch. 18. the original Korean does literally say “thief,” referring to someone dating a much younger person, but the official translation chose to localize it as “predator.” that’s just how official translations are sometimes.. they can be more exaggerated and don’t always stick to the literal meaning.

I know cz I translate alpha trauma into another language too, not just english, and I read the official version alongside the korean raws. so yes, I’m fully aware that the literal word is “thief”
