Are we all gonna survive this story ending?
More than a decade and I'm still pinning for them to be together like day one, not as much as Doumeki though T.T pls, he doesn't speak much or has anyone to share his thoughts with; how is he containing all that in himself all this time? Last chapter was so relieving but at what cost, his last confession?

Yashiro, I think he realizes that he gave Doumeki chance before to walk away, be it to save him and not be stuck in yakuza world or to detach himself from his own feelings or for all of those but now he knows that that was wrong on his part to assume as it failed miserably and here we are. I feel Yashiro has more come to terms with his feelings too; for him this was alien and totally new at that time.
Amou was trying to help Doumeki in his own way behind Misumi. I was wondering why but this explains, in some way, he saw himself in him.
How are they and us gonna make it out of this?

I felt like for Amou's situation, Misumi definitely was thinking more for his safety and well being. For Doumeki... Yashiro did it thinking of himself and his discomfort with falling in love and the changes to himself like worrying about someone else getting hurt and dying.
I don't know how they're gonna make it out of this situation but, WE at least can hold each other tight and cry together

Yes, I thought so too, Doumeki definitely had simple innocent air to him that Yashiro seemed kinda wanted to spare or protect, esp. after knowing and crossing path with his sister
Let's hope the best for them and we shed only happy tears :')
