i wouldnt say its a happy or sad ending because they are still not together.. sorry for spoiler..

Happy ending, they both end up together and in a slice of life way. Their ending feels like the glimpse you were getting in their life story and now the curtains have closed while you know they will be alright as more story for them is there. Just we as readers won't be getting to see it anymore. That kinda way dk if it makes sense
