Lmaoo, but no I get you. In an ideal world a "no" would suffice. But sadly were arent, and for the plot it would have made more sense for the mc to fight more especially because his character is someone that goes head on and always tries his best.
For him to not even hit anything, at least a "I have no strenght" thought bubble would be acceptable for his "non defiance" obvy a "no" to a crazy mafia boss wouldnt be enough xD
