people in the comment section justifying it lol. He was a manipulative asshole through and through. He’s so pathetic right now i pity him but yeah. He’s gotta work for it.

before anyone comes at me for justifying the assault, yeah it’s a bad look for nanjo as well. That’s why this plot is so intriguing bec everyone isn’t the clean goody two shoes in everything.

    Totally deserved. The author played her cards right by showing us his harsh and loveless childhood so we'd all feel compassion for him. I'm not complaining; his personality and how he relates to love have a reason. We feel sorry for him also because the story is told from his point of view. We don't fully know everything Nanjo feels for Sunhwa or Mok-yeon, but he deserved it for being so manipulative and for all the things he did. He deserved it.

    I don't think Nanjo is as perfect and good as he's portrayed, nor that Sunhwa is the worst. All three of them have their problems; that's why the story is called Borderline. To me, it refers to all three of them.
