Lmao you and Litia both. She says that exact thing in the last chapter of season 1. As for the trainer thing, to me it feels like she's desperately trying to put up boundaries that the duke is trying (and badly failing) to respect. Seems like my standards are really low from the multiple romance manhwa's I've read, because the ml is one of the biggest green flags I've read in a long time.
i get u lmaooo the bar is SO low these days but yeah he's not terrible. to me it just feels like she's just in a dragon training animal-raising-fantasy story and he's in a romantasy they arent even talking in different languages but different genres all together haha.
if this was just abt dragons and her it tbh would proly be better. i like romance but i like her single, outdoors, obsessed with dragons, and just doing what she loves than inwvitably getting shackled to a duchess title in the future and the present repetitive conversations (im a trainer! ur my trainer! exclusive trainer! oh my gawddd take a shot everytime they say she's a trainer in an epsiode and u'd be sloshed) kinda drag the story down. no beef with the ML (yet) he just feels like he's in a diff genre than her lol
