I think this is just going to get even more brutal and violent, and I believe a tragic ending would fit this story pretty well, cuz this is becoming a full on psychological horror at this point.
My ideal end would be for the mc to get away from the ml, or for the ml to die cuz ain't no way the mc is gonna have any peace with this psycho in his life
