He mentions a couple times he’s actually upset with himself for wanting ppls deaths/pain and confused at the fact that he might actually want that kind of protection. Mostly just gets upset when he’s being lied to about that kinda thing? Also would be odd to NOT be disturbed when seeing ppl in the hospital/near death/dead. I’d give it a little more time because I do think the author explores that aspect of the situation
I just started to read this and i really hate when they try to write a kindhearted MC but they make them stupid and unrealistically kind like if anyone in his situation was going to get raped getting bullied and harassed by someone constantly and not wishing death upon them that’s unrealistic and poor writing.
