Yeah. You know what, there Are several things wrong in this comic.
1. The person who murdered the child’s parents took in the child and raised him like hus own, and the kid like has zero connection to their situation at all, the deaths of their parents, their only family - That’s Wrong asf.
2. No matter what kinda “different world” it is, from whatever story. This is very suggestive to grooming. That’s what it more of is, which is why I can Kind offf see both sides of ppl saying it isn’t it’s different- and the other saying it’s straight up pedophilia. Look at it in this perspective - this plot was and still by a human in our day and age and society. In a time and world where grooming still exists, and this comic has a plot where the 2 year old “Hybrid” human like child (even though he may look and they said he’s grown up and all.. He is still a child). The plot is setting this kid with a fully frown man, that looks to be about late 20s - early 30s. It is still really wrong.
Both the fact he’s the murderer of his parents, Took him in and raised him as his child. And ONLY 2 years pass and they already doin it. How does that not sound wrong to you at all, let alone for a plot for BL - which already has a bad history of many comics normalising non con rape, grooming, abuse, plenty more SA and sexual harassment. OTHER than the incest part. That’s a different story (pretty much barely tbh they’re not even connected by blood family or registry). But the age gap and Especially the timing of when they are literally having sex, and the power placement is Really Wrong.
So in this case, for my morals that I wanna keep - I’d skip this 1, drop it and say goodbye. For others that don’t, read and enjoy ig I ain’t gonna tell ya how to live.
But pls do not go sayin pieces like this is “So good! So cute!” When all the morals and our history of grooming and pedophilia victim cases are all gone. Yall are spreading misinformation?!
I really do wish there were more detailed comments and especially warnings, any mentioning of specific parts where mindful readers could have a heads up. Like at the beginning of the very comic. Tags and genre. Like ‘dubious grooming’ Just Something.
