I want it to go the first way. I want Pilsang to make a noise and bolt, and Jooeon will try to follow but can’t keep up/the girl stops him/whatever.
I’m seeing the first one happening but I’m also seeing the second where Pilsang hears something that breaks his heart and leaves quietly deactivating the cube. Self absorbed Jooeon however doesn’t notice until it’s been a minute and he’s getting no feedback from the cube. Like he tries to drop in because he can’t necessarily go over to his house right now due to the news and asks to see Pilsang and when he can’t see anything is when he becomes aware and worried. He’ll track that Pilsang came to his house and left then disappeared .Pilsang has always suffered in silence for love, I don’t see him changing this. It’s going to Jooeon noticing the absence and the uncertainty of it
Im betting money Jooeon's about to say something heinous in his quest to keep up appearances because he doesnt know Pilsang is there. Pilsang will then either make a noise resulting in him being heard or just ghost. Jooeon and the girl will notice while Pilsang dips out. Because he on one hand feels its his fault anywway and on the other is going to be down bad behind whatever comes out his mouth. Then he'll use that gift he got chapters back to disable Jooeon's cube long enough to disappear off the map. The next season will be a chase arc after Jooeon sees that life isn't going the way he plans when he tries to just say he can live with out Pilsang.
