I personally think that character development is great. MC has come to trust the ML more and has found a more solid reason to keep going and for helping the ML. It's a little slow as the questions havent been answer yet, but as you have said, definitely really cute but refreshing to read.

characters: 2.5/5 (there's not really any depth or development)
- i think it's good for a cute read with a nice dynamic, but idt it deserves a 9.6 rating. It's kind of just brain rot wrapped in a cute bow. Nothing wrong with that though!
