if i remember correctly, she's not the queen and king's child. she's the daughter of the king's brother and inherited his strong magical powers that's why her hair was dyed black and forced to do work for the family. i think she's the one supposed to inherit the throne in berry too bc of her magic??

Because her mother is a social climbing tramp that had a relationship with the King's brother but dumped him for the King. However by the time she got with the King the MC's mother was already pregnant from another man.
