ML grew up privileged and rich and she grew up as the only child of not too successful business owners (which isn't even that bad, she's middle class basically). She got into a rich kid high school and lied about also being rich because she didn't want the other kids looking down on her, but she looks down on rich kids 24/7 like she hyperfixates on thinking and talking shit about rich people who are just minding their business, going out of her way for it at times as well. How can she be so pathetic? Girl, who cares if someone else is privileged and you're not? Just get over yourself and live your life. Wtf. She is presented to the reader as mature and sound of mind but her envy and extreme inferiority complex just makes her feel immature and like she's a pos. Honestly the ML is way too good for her, he never gave a damn about her social status and openly liked her and did things for her and she rejected him because she hates that he's loaded. Girl what?
