Well, actually, if you see a loose leak, he doesn’t even see it as humiliation. He doesn’t care literally humiliation only works when the person themselves feels humiliated. He decided is a hassle but also she was a child. She was a bratty ass child technically she didn’t do anything like horrendously bad if anything it was just the way she was raised. She was a kid and she was stupid. I do believe that you were right she should’ve apologized properly the authors sometimes have a habit of not showing what they’re supposed to

If you proceed from the story Shirone is the "Star" if the academy now. So that humiliation is thrown to dump.

As for the red-haired girl, she's a noble, so apology is out of her league. The manhwa's noble system isn't commoner-friendly. Rian's family even suggest adopting Shirone just so he could attend the school. If it weren't for the headmaster's long-standing friendship with Rian's grandfather, Shirone wouldn't have been accepted.

Even Rian himself was on the verge of being kicked out of his family because he couldn't use Schema. There's also about the grandmaster's wife who was mistreated even tho she's a noble cuz she is mentally ill. So how could a daughter from a prestigious noble family be expected to apologize to a commoner?

She wasn’t mentally ill. She was disabled. She was genuinely born with less capability. I’m guessing of remembering of knowledge and whatever it sounds a lot like she was autistic, but in the most retrograde type or something like it there’s something else that is supposed to be called, but I don’t remember because it does not fit.

well, as someone who initially disliked red hair then came to love her now as a novel reader, here are my thoughts. she have so much character development that their past beef would seem like a child's play lol. tbf, every child do bad things, especially rich, noble, bratty kids. she was bored bc she was a genius so she became a troublemaker instead bc for her, that was cool as a child. but it was not her intention to make/sell mc into a slave like some ppl claimed, that was those brute's intentions. anyway, she realized her mistake that she's with the bad crowd and she matured/grew up on that. she was afraid her bad past will be revealed and her reputation will plummet as the daughter of a top 1 noble and honorable model student, so she threatened/blackmailed mc who knew her past. despite her reasons, it's still not justifiable, i know. in the end, she realized mc was really kind so feel very, very bad abt it. but she couldn't apologize, not bc she looks down on mc, but bc she didnt know how to (she didnt kniw how to apologize as u can see in the scribbles of her notebook). she's groomed/grew up as someone who doesnt lower their head as a the top 1 noble just right below the royalty. this also applies when she wanted to express her gratitude by saying "thankyou". that's why she's willing to teach mc and give him her notes, which she never does exclusively to anyone (especially boys) bc that's the only way she could express her gratitude and apology, plus she knew that learning magic is very precious to mc so she knew this would be helpful for him. see, when the red hair wanted him to be humiliated so she did what she did, for mc, that moment was to prove himself to her so he didnt feel a slightest bit of humiliation. tho its frustrating bc mc didn't get a sorry he deserved, if you read and understand our mc, he is not a kind if mc who's an edgelord and cuts off everyone who went against him, but instead a kind who does talk no jutsu, understand, and forgive (unless its very, inherently evil). it was in character for mc to understand bc, as the the headmaster realized in the fight with archmage, he's one to understand instead of judging blindly despite how evil the character is (exhibit a: archmage; exhibit b: mercenary leader girl). mc came to admire red hair and she became his standard and a challenge for him to catch up. he wanted to stand equal with red hair and fight or learn magic alongside her bc he knew he'd grow much more with her since she's a genius who could help him. like, tho it didnt immediately start with romantic feelings but admiration, u can tell how important and precious she is for him by how he could immediately see her and call out to her amongst the crowd (thats also why they get misinterpreted as a couple). and when the all students were abt to die, she was the first person he looked for. she's the first girl she he thought of to join him in "double date". he felt very sad when she cant remember him (like there are more narration abt her than the others). red hair knew her shortcomings and her feelings for mc deepened, tho she's still in denial bc she's a tsundere. she wanted to stay with him, spend time with him, and understand him, thats why she would willingly go in the tiger's den if it meant that she could do the following i mentioned. she's also strong so mc trust that she could watch his back. in the end bc of built bond, love, trust, admiration, and the feeling as if one's the other half of them towards each other, their relationship became stronger and deeper.
