Hes kinda complicated because he does stuff objectively bad for moondae (literally kidnaps him, repeatedly tried to get moondae to off himself, ect) but hes doing it under the impression that moondae is a looping regressor and not in a one time thing situation and by the end they reluctantly get along bc theyre basically the only people who can fully understand each other
