idk bro, why do YOU read yaoi? because once in a blue moon, a really good story gets published. and to find it, i have to be on this website and read yaoi. if this particular story here turns out to be the diamond in a bucket full of shit, i’ll be the first one to reach in with my bare hands and treat it for what it is. alas, i’ve reached in and grabbed all but shit often enough. so if a man acts sus, i’ll continue giving him the stink eye until he proves he’s not the standard-issue yaoi sexual offender

But I don't go into each story expecting it to be nothing but rape rape rape till proven otherwise. Ofc some stories aren't the greatest or well-written or have God tier art. That's the beauty of creating art lol
I just don't understand the mentality of expecting something awful to happen each time you crack a title open to read it lol that level of apprehension has gotta be a form of self-harm.
