Something like that, but it's because he remains aware that the ML is interested in him; he likes it when the ML gets jealous, and he’s even willing to take a beating for it.
He gives a shit ton of money (that isn’t his, it’s the black-haired guy’s) to a crypto bro and then tries to pay him back and ends up working at either a host place or something similar. The most recent chapter I’ve found has him being SA’d after getting drugged/drunk by a pervy old man. He keeps doing stupid shit mostly because he’s dumb AF but also I think subconsciously wanting to get beaten up and the black haired guy keeps holding back his anger for once in his life and it actually disappoints him. Dude is a masochist for sure.
