spoiler of the story ahead? idk how much you wanna know but this is just the beginning and it doesn't get better TT it's angst after angst. it does have some "happy" moments but those are often followed by devastating lows so. but it does seem like the author might be finally on the path of giving them a happy ending

it's not finished yet! I wouldn't say he abused her but they're kinda toxic towards each other at times. they're two traumatized people that learned different behaviors to protect themselves. Barkas is cold and Thalia is very reactive. the story is a heavy read at times and includes a lot of topics that could make people uncomfortable so if you're sensitive to topics like miscarriage, near death experiences, SA or coercion then the story might not be for you
