I think you are probably right because some functions such notifs were working for me when the site came back up but they just stopped working. I can’t even click on my profile so I’m guessing it’s just bad gateway + an influx of people constantly reloading the site because everyone is freaking out.

I don't think it's all gone? I think it might be just a bad gateway? Like, not lost, just crosspaths not sending the info to the right places, that's why some basic commands (like liking a comment, seeing all topics, visiting profiles) are failing. Let's see if it will come back once it stabilizes or if we are going through the second great purge
