He's unfortunately absolutely not on Na-In's side at all... He will harm Na-In.. He's basically using Amon's "trust" in him as a human to keep Na-In happy but is secretly plotting something else.

I'm sure the more Na-in learns, the more insubordinate he becomes. I can see this as the true purpose of alleviating ignorance

He prays that nain breaks free from ignorance does this mean that he is betraying amon and purposely failing the amnesis ritual?
