I just read the novel and whoever said that she died is feeding me the wrong spoilers . Spoiler: . . . . . . . . . How can you still love him? After he angrily looked at you left your side and you got flung like a ragdoll by a monster. You still expect him to love you but then again Talia was an idiot for even leaving the camp and going after him. I’m at a part in the novel where there is a wyvern monster attack and Varkas/Barkas tells her to stay within the shield, but her dumb self still goes and chases after him and out of the shield. Then Ayla comes with a monster chasing her so ofc he goes and rescues her- but the wyvern is like oh there is another target, this is my chance! And goes after Talia, flings her up like a ragdoll and crushes her body with its claws and throws her over yonder. A boulder falls to her left leg and shatters it and she is almost dying. She stays wondering if Varkas would look for her. Time passes and she starts crying. He does form a search party for her and I’m pretty sure it’s already dark/night time during this time. I legit wonder HOW she survived.
The spoiler of Varkas now having to marry Talia after this might ring true, also they said the mom would think of her as ugly now after all she will have a scar and will be a “disabled” handicap person. Talia will ask Varkas to give her the medicine mouth to mouth every night.
I am glad that she is alive but disappointed that she’s still having hopes for him. I would rather her be with Edric LOL.
