they're very cute, but i agree with other readers. one chapter they were just partners in crime who still had quite a few walls up with each other, then one possession + ignoring a bit then getting lonely, and now they're a full couple. i think it was established that they thought of each other as cute or attractive, and they were slowly starting to have positive opinions of each other and some warmth or a smidge of feelings? and i guess the possession brought up a lot of emotions and life-or-death, plus meeting her garbage parents in this life. but i feel like it's still a wee bit early for this--at this point, their feelings are just tiniest possible crush + loneliness/only person in same situation. they don't have to be *in love* to start a relationship, but i do wish they had some more scenes first where they got to know each other more, like their preferences and so on, not just their backstory/trauma/missions, but the tiny things? they haven't seen much of each other except for in life-or-death, 1:1 or other dramatic situations. they don't know much of the everyday version of themselves.
