2. Tan was dead. His soul was placed to the dog Tan before the end of the human Tan life. Meanwhile, Duchess is not dead but in a coma. So they are different.
But I agree, it feels very mary sue. Like everything goes right for the Mc’s convenience.
I have so many questions i feel as though i either missed or will be answered in the future
1. How is tan human again
2. Why will that bring her back to life? (does that mean shes dead? If so how did she manage to interact with the mc? Cause it was stated that tan's soul was placed in a dog right so where is the duchess' soul placed rn if shes dead? )
3. How is the "not having emotions" relavant to the plot?
4. If the mc is able to lift the curse because she has mana, does that mean the previous mages were just not strong enough? I don't believe how they found her by a simple statement of having purple eyes (+they were even looking for the wrong type of poeple)
5. In this universe, are mages simply that powerful to bring back people from the dead? If so this story needs some serious world building
