I reread it almost twice a month for some reason and it gives me butterflies every time <3 I was wondering why I come back here and I realized I can relate to Soohyun a bit (only the rivalry part) being that girl always coming to to the 2nd place, I hated the boy who was first. I wouldn't call him a childhood friend but we did live in the same development and played together once or twice when we were young. The year he left the primary school I got the first place but I remember it didn't feel great. I thought we had gone to our separate ways. Coincidentally many years later I came to know that we attended the same high school, though I was attending morning shift class and he was in the day shift. We attended the colleges in the same area, where I attended the all girls college and he attended the all boys one. And on top of this we attended the same university but both in different department where I was majoring Architecture and he was in CSE. I only saw him in passing when I was in sophomore years in my university, but I could recognize him right away. I wouldn't ever admit that I had crush on this dude even if someone kills me. He is not my type at all. It's just all this coincidences made it kinda hard for me to ignore his existence. But in any case, neither of us made any move thankfully and our paths never crossed again. I am happily married now and my guess is he is also doing well :D
