he is very relatable, open and honest while ML is cold and calculating. and those are some obvious flaws
As someone who overthinks shit and got into a lot of argument with my husband because of it, the MC is draining. I see what my husband was dealing with. Now I just tell him how I feel so we can have an understanding and it's so much better now. Hopefully MC can start communicating better and stop assuming stuff.
it frustrates me that people expect mc to be honest and communicate when ml himself isn't honest about telling mc that he's actually a namer lmao. Talking in riddles certainly isn't fcking helping isn't it lmao. They both have their issues but I think it's also fair to give mc some grace considering the setting of this story

To be fair ml came out of nowhere and started to pursue mc with the intention of finding out if he's a namer (mc believes he's not, while mc knows he is lol) ml didn't even tell him where the name is located or that he has one and just decided to play mind games lmao.

I actually really like the mc cause i kinda relate to him lol, I overthink alot to the point that I assume an ending before things actually happen so that I wouldn't be hurt.
I kept on agreeing with his internal monologue that it actually surprised me that most comments find him stupid or frustrating lol.
