The way I see it is that the fated partners are basically perfectly suited to you. Some may fall for you at first sight but some types of people need their love to develop and the Ryo guy is like that imo. Now I might be misreading but I like it better than being tied to an asshole with a name tag, that doesn't even match me, lol

he probably doesn't wanna say the name for several reasons: most likely craving the chase and wanting to win him over, by letting him fall for him without knowing they are name partners, and also he is curious to see if that name thing actually works.

I wonder how the majority would handle the situation, bc it does feel shitty to be tight to a partner through name but having like no chemistry nor interest in them.
So I do get why he chose not to say, I too would not want to be w sb that fate chose for me and me knowing I don't actually like them.

But it also depends how that fate name system works, is it based on DNA compatibility? Is it based on MBTI? Blood??? Or all above? like if it is based on everything even zodiac signs, personality, habits, lifestyle, age... That would be cool... BC then it is a real good match in all its aspects, but if it is based off just one or two things, that can be problematic.
It can work well w sb, so well that it can almost feel like fate, but if their lifestyle or communication habits is garbage and they hurt u through words or actions, u would also not like to be w them.
So it depends....
