4.5/10 stories review Spoiler Warning!!!

At first I thought it was like a dark romance kinda story. So, I got hooked immediately. However as the story progressed, I feels like the plot was dragging for too long. Especially the revenge plot from ML to the FL lead?? It’s just feels a little bit like one chapter he will be like all over the FL then still yapping about his revenge plots. This basically the entire plot from chapter 20 till the end like damn bro. Same goes for the FL as well, they are both contradicting with their actions, motives, or any reason in general. Like this could have been solved many chapters ago if they have a sit down and be truthful about their past and feelings. I think they both need couple therapy and therapy for themselves at the same time bro. If not the whole nation needs therapy. It’s a shame because the progress of two leads fall in love feels a little bit too forced. I just feels like the ML and Fl have such a complex dynamic and I wish the authors had explored it a little bit better.

Then near end so many characters have the side story so and I genuinely don’t care because there was no emotion built up for them from the beginning. Maybe Raphael but like that it was unnecessary like if we remove his story it wouldn’t affect the story. Also there was character like the red hair one in beginning the conflict resolved so quickly that I thought it was a wasted of time to read it.

Don’t get me started on the FL parents. They are prime examples of just because you are a good person that doesn’t mean you are a good parents. Honestly I was shock to see how forgiving the FL since her parents was neglecting her entire childhood. Everything could been avoided if they all sit down and have a talk istg it’s not that hard man.

Conclusion, one good thing about this story is the art. They stay fairly consistent till end which not lot of manhwa able to do it. I think they have a strong opening for story but fell short after the second arc. The final arc of the story was all over the place so many side characters get screen-time but serve little purpose to the story. The relationships between two leads should have fleshed out a little bit better. If you want to admire the art and don’t want to use too much brain cell it’s a good read.
