Good but not that good

I’m gonna be honest, this story is really overhyped. There was so much filler and it dragged out for so long. The ‘villian’ of the story was so comical that he wasn’t even scary or threatening. He was just extremely pathetic and really dumb. If the whole story is going to be centred around Park, this evil rich guy who somehow manipulated everyone and the media, I was expecting a little more from him. But his character just gave Disney villain. His lines were so cringy and comical and his actions are so unrealistic that it ruined his whole character. The MC barely had any character development, I mean I was reaching character 90 and somehow he’s still the same guy from chapter 1. Like I get he’s obsessive, but you would’ve thought that obsession developed his personality somehow especially since he finally found a way to speak to the ML. But no, it’s like he just stayed the same bland, rude guy from chapter one. He has terrible communication for a reporter and I genuinely don’t get how he convinced anyone to be on his side. The development with the ML didn’t make any sense either, he went from raping the MC to being his bitch for the rest of the story? The rape was so out of place it didn’t make any sense and then his character just did a whole 180 and tried to almost become the ‘misunderstood good guy’ of the story. You can’t make your character rape someone then try to convince us for the rest of the story that he’s just so misunderstood, and if the ML knows what it’s like to be SAed. Literally has friends who have been raped and has so much trauma from Park being a sick perv, why would he then do that to the MC? And I genuinely feel like the only smart move the MC made was asking the ML if the reporters had permission to use his photos so that they couldn’t use them. Everything else was just him talking to people and somehow guessing the answer straight away. They author tries to portray the MC as some kind of smart manipulator that tricks to get his own way, but that really wasn’t shown at all. And don’t get me started on that build up for 90 chapters, we knew Park was going to do something to the MC since he was introduced, they dragged it on and on and then when Park finally gets him nothing really happened. Yes he had that recorder on him but your telling me this criminal mastermind that again manipulated everyone and the media did not check the MC’s clothes. The reporter who hes was kidnapping clothes? There’s so much like flaws and stupid stuff to this story, it was enjoyable at first but then it just started going no where. I feel like if the MC actually had some character development and we actually started to see the feelings grow between them not just sex sex sex all the time, the story could’ve been so much more interesting but it’s like nothing was happening between them other than sex and talking about the past. I genuinely would know no personal information about the main characters if the author didn’t do that QA, there conversations were so surface level majority of the story, other than when they were speaking about there trauma of course. But the MC never opened up once, for someone who is so obsessed with the ML, you would’ve thought we’d see some emotion. But it genuinely didn’t seem like he cared at all. But anyways, this story is good with your brain switched off.
