ok even if ik now what the misunderstanding is, it is still feel a bit bad, like dub con is still dub con. just bc he know the other person is in love with him, and the body react, does neither of them question how wrong it was. I didn't see mc actively questioning it, neither of them did. like why did mc leave after the duke said he cherished him? did the duke never question that he might have his reason? where's the nuance? everyone just assuming other people's word and action are what they are, or even worse. this is the kind of story that can frustrate me. the misunderstanding is so deliberate, well for once it's important for the plot, it doesn't have to be that way tho.
also the problem is bc I just can't see why mc like the duke so much. there's just no flashback or connection or reason why mc like him, did I miss it. especially when most of the hero under him looks so fine. why it has to be the grand duke? the story didn't explain that. even if it will be revealed later I just think it will be too late
