Besides from mc point of view he wasn't a sugar baby, that's why ml did all of that in secret. When people work for everything they have, they naturally develop strong pride about who they are and what they can do themselves.
Honestly? I have the same mindset as yeomin, all i have is my pride. If i lose that too then what else is there for me to feel like myself? I hate having people pay for me, i hate people pitying me hahaha. So i understand yeomin so much
It's not even about pride. The top has zero respect for the bottom, makes life changing decisions on his behalf, disregards his wants and opinions, interferes with his personal life and is extremely controlling all the while refusing to admit he has feelings for him and instead treats him like a boy toy. The bottom was sort of ok with a sex friends situation thinking the top was just kind but didn't want to commit (zero pride in that situation, lol). And now he sees the top for what he is and wants none of that.
