Like people think Jo’s persistence is endearing. NO IT’S NOT!!! He’s a thirsty ass bitch who didn’t respect Ian’s wishes the first 10x!!! I know most readers are girls. So let’s put it this way. A man you find cute but have no romantic interest in because you already got someone you like keeps trying to get into your pants. You gave it a shot but didn’t feel sparks so you decided to end things and he won’t leave you TF alone. He shows up at your house unannounced. He butts into your relationship with the person you actually love and insist on being your friend but secretly still wants to fuck you. Like you’d be turned off not going goo goo ga ga over him. Be real! Jo is literally what we teach girls NOT how to act in a relationship. He has no self respect. He’s willing to put his family safety on the line for a STRANGER!!! Willing to let a man die and become an accomplice for MURDER. And almost became a murderer himself in the span of what 2-3 months. You’ve got to be kidding me. And all for a person who didn’t even buy him a single flower back! Be so for real right now. I BEG OF YOU LADIES OUT THERE PLEASE DO NOT BE A JO IN A RELATIONSHIP!!! Please have some self respect. Please prioritize yourself first. Do not keep pouring into a relationship when it’s not RECIPROCATED. Do not think you can fix someone who has never asked you to fix them. You can not love the pain and trauma away. It’s up to the person to acknowledge their problems and takes steps to fix themself. You can help and encourage them from the side. But it’s not your job to make their problem go away when the problems they have is internal. It’s ok to have genuine feelings for someone and want what’s best for them, but not at the cost of yourself, your morals and values and your self respect. Ain’t no one is worth losing yourself over.

And the thing is Ian did what was best for Jo too? Mind you when he went with Jo to meet his aunt there was an instance where he was staring at Jo's aunt family photo on the table. He immediately panic when he saw that they were being followed. He wasn't ever gonna be with Jo because he still love TJ and second what they have experience are so different from each other. Ian grew up in a broken household and was abused and surrounded by violence for most of his life. I'm 100% sure that he realized how much Jo has to lose. He has a family and relatives that love him. His parents love him. He grew up in a normal household and Ian keep reiterating he shouldn't be getting involved with him but Jo keeps on insisting on being with Ian. So Ian is the bad guy for giving it a try? He went as far to put himself and TJ in danger for Jo. He stopped Jo from shooting Jamie. He would have still broken up with Jo even if TJ hadn't come and confess to him because he was watching Jo self destructing for him and it's crazy because he has been clear that he doesn't love Jo and Jo deep down knows that he loves TJ and he still pursued Ian. Ian also didn't lie to this bitch either when he said his feelings for Jo was real because it fucking was. I dislike Jo because obviously he fucking sexually assaulted someone when they're unconscious and his stan keeps slutshaming Ian and be on that moral paragon shit but through Ian lenses he saw Jo as a good guy, he saw Jo as attractive and Jo had everything he never had and the life he wanted but he never wanted that with Jo. He cared and felt "love" for Jo but he loves TJ. He knows that Jo should be what he wants but that wouldn't be fair to Jo. Like okay you don't like Ian but don't mischaracterize him? Wdym a minipulative #### that wanted to keep everyone on a leash. The Ml were the one who wanted Ian on a leash. He gave Jo so many warning and exits to leave. He left the gang because of his own mental health and he knows that Jason doesn't even want him in the gang organization. He is leaving not only for himself but for TJ who he thought would be better off without him so that TJ could continue to succeed in the organization. He sacrifice so much and another crazy thing is this man from the when he was a kid...30 years of his life he never had a break. Most of his life was with abused neglect violence and gaslight. He got out of prison he had to work to pay off debt and the story literally start with him just recently finishing up paying the debts. He never had a break nor the privilege to think or have time for himself. He still get illusion when he is stressed. He panic the moment he saw people following them. Jo was not good for him actually and Ian wasn't good for Jo because Ian would be getting anxiety for the rest of his life and blaming himself for what Jo pursuing him when really Jo is willingly doing this. He got his happy ending. Ian got what he always wanted with TJ. Maybe they still upset because they know Jo would run back to Ian if Ian wanted him back lol.

The selective morals and empathy is baffling. The misogynistic and sexist comments toward Ian are disgusting. A rape victim getting slutshame because two men willingly pursued him and neither of them have an official label with Ian so I don't see why Ian need to stay loyal. This is a love triangle and it's clear that people can't actually read love triangle and can't try to comprehend anything outside of a moral frameworks and since they're too busy fuming at the mouth because their conservative monogamous mindset for a LOVE TRIANGLE isn't being followed so rather than engaging with the actual complexity of the characters they just reduce them to whatever narrative they want.
