Everyone’s complaining they got back to the same pattern but that’s not entirely true. This last chapter is Maxi realizing she wants to be more than just by Riftan’s side, she wants to be someone he can also lean on but he won’t let her. And in her mind it’s because he believes she’s not strong enough. Which then leads us into the next chapter, so this does have to happen for her growth. And no spoilers but I’m so excited for this next part~
